Offaly singer through to 'Cowboys & Heroes' country music final
Just a week on from the release of his latest single, 'The Best Song of All Time,' which claimed the #1 spot on the Irish iTunes Country Chart, there's yet more exciting news for Banagher born country singer Colin Kenny.
As he revealed in a video posted on his Facebook page from Lanzarote last night, Colin has been selected as one of the finalists for their Search For A Country Star competition at this year's Cowboys & Heroes Americana and Country Music Festival in Drumcora City in Leitrim.

The Borrisokane based barber has been turning heads on the country scene for the past year and a half and will take to the stage on Saturday with the eleven other finalists - and a wildcard entry, which is new this year - hoping to make it into Sunday's final.
Whoever eventually triumphs will follow in the footsteps of last year's winner, Aoife McDonagh, who recently released her debut single, 'Go Down Swingin.'
This year's Cowboys & Heroes Festival runs from June 1 to June 4, and will see a huge selection of Irish country stars performing, including Derek Ryan, Lisa McHugh, and Johnny Brady, as well as last year's competition winner Aoife McDonagh, who returns to the main stage on Sunday.
