Offaly band storm the charts with brand new single
Tullamore trio Chasing Abbey are once again bounding up the charts with their new single, Talk to Me, the follow-up to their 2017 hit 'That Good Thing.'
The supremely catchy tune catapulted Ro, Bee, and Teddy C from nowhere to the worldwide stage, earning them a spot on numerous radio playlists and festival stages throughout the year. 2017 was crowned when the Offaly band put pen to paper on a record deal with Universal Music Group (Worldwide) and 3Beat U.K.
'Talk To Me' is their first release since that deal and the ultra smooth track is already climbing the iTunes chart, keeping good company with the likes of Ed Sheeran and Andrea Bocelli.
The release of the single is as much a statement of intent for what's coming down the line in the next twelve months and beyond, as it is a validation of their being hailed as one of Ireland's potential 'next big things' on the international stage.
After the nationwide success of 'That Good Thing', and what it led to, the follow-up was always going to have a lot to live up to.
Released last Friday, 'Talk To Me' quickly jumped to #5 on the all-genres iTunes chart. The exclusive first-play of 'Talk To Me' on national radio took place last Thursday evening on Today FM when the lads joined Louise Duffy 'live' in-studio on her Lost In Music show. The station have been behind the band from day one, when Kate Brennan Harding first regonised their unique talent.
Ro, Bee, and Teddy C have also been named on 2FM's list of Irish Artists To Watch for 2018.
'Talk To Me', the brand new single from Chasing Abbey, is OUT NOW, and available to download on all digital platforms. Expect big things from this three-piece in 2018.
