There's very few songs people have sung more this summer than the catchy tune from the Gillette razor advert on TV.

Those of us who sat down to watch a lot of the Euros or All-Ireland football and hurling championships on RTE would have heard it at every single ad break, joining in with the "best a man can get" hook at the end.

Most of you may not know there is a massive Offaly link to the latest version of the song featured on the newest Gillette adverts - the singer's dad is from Offaly.

The song is question is a modern version of 'The Best A Man Can Get' jingle that has become famous along with the brand. It is performed by Tom Grennan, who even has an Offaly tattoo due to his link to the county.

Tom grew up in Bedford in the UK but his father Martin is from Ballycumber so the chart star spent many childhood days there with cousins. He is proud of his Offaly connection and even has an Offaly tattoo '95-OY' on his hand, combining the year of his birth with the Offaly car registration.

He also recently shared a video of himself singing a spine-tingling version of the Fields of Athenry. The Little Bit of Love singer even wore an Offaly GAA jersey for the performance.
