Offaly TikTok sensation Shane Gallagher, aka The Digger Dad, has reacted to a poster for his hometown show in Daingean this summer.

The Daingean native has more than 200,000 followers on TikTok and has become somewhat of a star by performing witty sketches and singing from his digger in Australia.

Shane now lives in Brisbane with his Australian wife and their son but has a huge following back home in Ireland thanks to his feelgood channel.

He is due to play a gig at Daingean Town Hall on June 22 and a poster advertising the return of 'Daingean's most famous son' has been erected in the town, much to Shane's entertainment.

His mother sent him a picture of the poster on Facebook and his reaction was hilarious.

"I'm near dead with laughing," he joked, adding, "look at the size of the poster." He later claimed, "it's bigger than me."
