RTE Late Late host Patrick Kielty has confirmed his first blockbuster guest in the shape of a Hollywood icon.
Action movie star Jean-Claude Van Damme has been confirmed as a guest on Friday night's Late Late.
The Belgian martial arts expert, 63, is best known for films such as Kickboxer, Double Impact, Timecop and Street Fighter.
Van Damme, who is often referred to as "The Muscles from Brussels", is in Ireland this week, launching his own Irish whiskey brand.
The news was announced by Patrick Kielty on social media in a video of him practicing his martial arts skills.
RTE has not confirmed any of the othwr guests for this week's show.
The Late Late Show airs this Friday from 9.35pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player.
