Tullamore Harriers Report (January 30)

It was a stellar week for Harriers athletes

All Ireland Junior & U23 Indoors

Aaron Mangan took a fantastic silver medal at the All-Ireland Junior 1500m in AIT last weekend clocking 4.11.86. Philip King also had a great run in what was his first National Junior competition running 4.37.88 to finish 8th. Nadine Donegan took the bronze medal in her U23 1500m in a new PB time of 4.46.72 while her sister Danielle ran the Junior race over the same distance in 5.03.32. Well done to you all.

South Leinster Schools Cross Country

Danielle Donegan had a great win in the Senior Girls race at the South Leinster Schools Cross Country where she represented the Sacred Heart School, Tullamore. Sarah Condron and Dearbhail Cuddy were 5th and 6 th respectively. Well done girls!

Raheny 5 Mile

Well done to Eddie Fitzgerald who ran last Sunday’s Raheny 5 Mile road race in 34.13.

Access to Harriers Facilities

Please note that use of the club’s facilities, including the tarmac track, is restricted to members of the club. Walkers are not permitted on the track during training sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6.30pm-8pm.
