A group of athletes from the Tullamore Harriers club enjoyed a very successful weekend as they reached the All-Ireland Indoor Relay final in the 200 metre event.

Elizabeth Brown, Katie Burke, Shauna Slattery and Kate Cunnighnam competed in the Under-15 Leinster Indoor 4x200 metre relay event at Abbotstown in Dublin. Their performance saw them qualify for the All-Ireland version of the competition.

Also in action was Emer Galvin, Hannah McDonald, Maeve McGreel and Shauna Slattery, who ran well in the Under-14 4x200 metre relay race at the Dublin track over the weekend.

The Tullamore Harriers club are extremely proud of the exploits of their young athletes, marking a really exciting period for the club's younger members.
