Feis Ceoil is an annual festival organised before Easter each year in Dublin and comprises almost 200 competitions, attracting over 5,000 participants from all over the island of Ireland.
“The Feis holds a special place in the heart of Irish musicians,” said Laura Gilsenan, CEO of Feis Ceoil.
”Our competitors inspire us all with their passion, commitment and dedication, and many of them go on to make successful careers in music. Performance experience with independent feedback from an international adjudicator can be an important step on the path to being a musician.”
The ESB Feis Ceoil, which hosts competitions in singing as well as a range of classical instruments, runs from Monday, April 1 to Friday, April 12.
