There were an impressive 14 Offaly winners at Monday's Midlands 103 Hospitality Awards where 350 people gathered in the Midlands Park Hotel in Portlaoise.
Over 40 businesses were recognised at the awards, with Offaly claiming two of the big five awards. The Tullamore Court Hotel won the Overall Hotel of the Year award while Best Tourist Attraction went to Lough Boora Parklands.

Music Venue of the Year – Hugh Lynch’s, Tullamore
Best Leisure Centre – Portarlington Leisure Centre
Best Leisure Attraction – Birr Castle, Gardens and Science Centre
Best Guesthouse – Sea Dew Guesthouse, Tullamore
Best Hotel Bar – The Bridge bar, The Bridge House Hotel, Tullamore
Best Value Restaurant – Eddie’s Hotspot, Portarlington
Best Fine Dining Restaurant – Captain House Restaurant, Tullamore
Best Customer Service – Restaurant – Shishir Restaurant, Tullamore
Best Dining Experience – Siroccos Italian Restaurant, Tullamore
Best Family Hotel – County Arms Hotel, Birr
Judges Rising Star awards:
Bar sector – Mary Hensey from the Tullamore Dew Heritage Centre
Hotel sector – Sarah Alexander, the Central Hotel, Tullamore
