Congratulations to Martina Mealiffe who represented her club, Rahan Macra and Offaly Macra at the Queen of the Land festival held in the Bridge House Hotel, Tullamore. There were 31 Queens in attendance over the weekend, each having an escort to cater for their every whim. Martina is the secretary of Rahan Macra and Rural Youth Officer of Offaly Macra. Many of our members were involved on the organising committee; Emma Leogue and Caitlin Rigney as PRO’s, Nicholas Berry as Escort Co-Ordinator, Fergal Leonard as Sponsorship Co-Ordinator and Sinead Rigney as one of our committee members. We had many of members as escorts for the Queens for the weekend and we also had those in attendance to support Martina.
