The Pat Colgan Pedal the Peaks Challenge, is in honour of Pat who tragically passed away following an accident while out on his bike.
The event organisers say that as a cyclist Pat was both competitive and determined and took his training very seriously. Before he passed away he was planning a cycling trip to America with his friends in the club but sadly that was not to be.
Pat was a valued club member loved by all. He was also a popular and highly respected GAA referee.
Tullamore Cycling Club is proud to support the Offaly branch of the IKA continuing its long-standing commitment to helping support the fantastic work they do.
