New look Irish squad set for Polish encounter

Robbie Brady and James McClean will man the wings as Irish manager Giovanni Trapattoni looks to experiment with a new look side to face the Polish. According to Dublin native Brady there are no such thing as a friendly game with every result key.

Sunderland defender John O’Shea will captain the side which sees Conor Sammon making his senior debut alongside Shane Long.

The full starting IX is a follows: Forde, McShane, O’Shea. Clark, Cunningham, Brady, McCarthy, Whelan, Long, Sammon.
