Killeigh Ladies held their awards night on Saturday last.

Chairman Ollie O’Connell started the night by thanking their sponsors Shane and Trevor of The Wolftrap for all they have done throughout the season, Mickey Feery Jake O’Connell and Gary Condron for helping out with the team, Michelle Harte the phyiso for her hard work and to the supports, parents and friends for following and supporting the team throughout the season.

He thanked Don Keating and William Healy CCFL for coming to present the awards but the biggest thanks went to the team for their huge effort, work rate and determination which led to them finishing second in the league.

The following awards were made - Top scorer Tara Roe, Players’ player of the year Orla Brennan, Club player of the year Charlotte Feery and Club Person of the year Lisa Flaherty. Congratulations to the entire panel on a great season and best wishes to all for next year. The club would also like to wish best of luck those players who are sitting exams this year.
