A controversial penalty decision with fifteen minutes remaining snatched a point for Mountmellick against an Arlington side that had controlled much of this U-19 league clash in Conor Davis Park on Saturday afternoon.

Last Wednesday in Portlaoise Soccer club clubhouse at Rossleighan Park the draw was made for two U-15 and two U-16 competitions between clubs from the MSL and KDUL .

CCFL launch new projects to assist development

In it’s relatively short existence the CCFL has always looked to implement new ways of improving soccer in the Midlands, and on Thursday night last they announced some very innovative projects that should benefit the league and the standard of it’s football in the region.
