World Champion Katie Taylor opens Tullamore’s Spartacus Boxing Club

OLYMPIC bound boxer Katie Taylor was in Tullamore on Sunday to perform the official opening of the Spartacus Boxing Club.

The newly crowned World Champion drew a large crowd to the excellent facility in Axis Business Park and there were even more well wishers in the Bridge House Hotel to meet her at the subsequent Boxing Tournament. Katie signed autographs for fans and posed for photographs.

Despite being only newly formed, the club has enjoyed plenty of success already winnig a host of titles at county and provincial level.
