Rehab Care Martial Artists graduate

The Midlands Martial Arts and Training Centre came alive this weekend as the Martial Artists from the different programs taking place there graduated.

The programs which take place in the facility every week are run in conjunction with the local Rehab Care with instructors giving their time to run a Tai Chi and a Kickboxing program.The Tai Chi program is designed to suit older clients concentrating on improving mobility and flexibility, with the Kickboxing program, for younger users being an active fun filled program concentrating on building strength and concentration.

The graduation was well attended with local politicians Cllr. Danny Owens, Cathaoirleach of Offaly County Council, and Cllr Ger Plunkett in attendance along with a contingent of U.N. Veterans in Uniform. High Ranking Martial Artists from Aikijujutsu, American Kenpo, Escrima, Kenpo, Jujutsu and Shotokan in attendance to present graduation certificates.

The graduates families also came along to show their full support for the Martial Artists. The large crowd in attendance generated a fantastic atmosphere with each and every participant receiving huge cheers for their efforts.
