ST Vincent’s Minor GAA club held a sponsored walk and fundraising day on Sunday, June 12. Despite inclement weather conditions, there was a great turnout for the event.

St Vincent’s is now in its tenth year and provides GAA football from U-8 level to Minor for the four communities of Daingean Parish - Ballycommon, Cappincur, Daingean and Kilclonfert.

The day started with a sponsored walk from Daingean GAA pitch to Ballycommon GAA pitch. The honour of cutting the tape was given to the newly wed Alo Seery, who was the first Chairman, and to Marty Treacy who has held a position on the top table since the beginning.

The club would like to thank everyone who took part in the days fundraising events and also to all who supported the recent bag packing event which was a great success.
