SUNDAY, April 3 will see the 4th annual Croghan Tractor Run in aid of Temple Street Children’s Hospital.

Over the past four years Croghan man John Sheerin and his crew have raised over €56,000. Each year more and more drivers are taking part which means we make more money for this great cause.

This year the run takes place on Sunday April 3 at 11am sharp from Rahugh. Each driver that registers will receive a breakfast roll before the run starts. The event is open not only to vintage tractors but also vintage bikes, lorries and cars.

The run will proceed to Tyrrellspass, Croghan and Rhode where the drivers will be stopping for soup and sandwich. Then they will head for Rochfordbridge, back to Tyrrellspass and finally to Rahugh.

Temple Street will also be represented with Events Manager Angi McNulty coming along to give her support.

John and his wife Helena along with some friends have put in an enormous amount of work to get this event to where it is.
