The Faithful Fields project is a plan to construct a Centre of Excellence for Offaly GAA, and it includes four full sized training pitches with floodlights of a sufficient standard to host games, a complex with six modern dressing rooms, a meeting room/dining area, a weights/circuit training room, and a 1.1km walkway available for use by the wider community. Work is already underway on the site near Kilcormac and according to the Faithful Fields website, the project has now raised €559,478 of their €750,00 target.

One of the more high profile fundraisers for the project takes place on March 18 when Offaly golfer Shane Lowry hosts a golf classic at his home club of Esker Hills Golf Course.
