THERE was a great turnout for the Ballycommon GAA Reunion night on Easter Saturday night in Ballycommon House. It was a night to honour the teams of 1977, 1982 & 1984.

There was also the final weigh in for the Slimathon in which Eugene Hoey took the title by the smallest of margins.

All money raised will be used by the club to finish current projects. Music on the night was by Martin Goulding and Paul Kenna and Kevin Lalor-Fitzpatrick of Midlands 103 fame performed hilarious sketches.

Poems by Camillus Boland, Derryhill, which were written in honour of the teams were read out.

Ollie Scally, Chairman, thanked Marie & Gerry for the use of the premises and also thanked everyone for supporting the Slimathons and had a special thanks for Camillus Boland for his great help in organising the night.
