McPadden's seek transfer to Rhode

THE McPadden twins are seeking a transfer from Clonmore Harps to Rhode.

The request was read out at the January meeting of the Offaly County Board although no decision was taken as the matter was referred to the Management Committee who will make a ruling.

The twins both featured for the Offaly minors in 2010 although James' contribution was curtailed due to injury.

Both brothers were key members of the Rod Og team which won the Minor Football Championship in 2010 with Paul ending the year picking up the Offaly Minor Footballer of the Year Award.
