The Aviva All Ireland Schools Track and Field championships provided a feast of underage athletics and was hosted for the twenty second year by Tullamore Harriers on Saturday last.
The first event started at 9am and carried through to the last event at 6pm. A lot of hard work by Harriers volunteers went into making the day a huge success. On a day that saw Tullamore Harriers athletes win an unprecedented six medals at the Championships with Eileen Rafter’s gold in the Under 16 girls mile provided a great finish to an almost perfect day for the club.
