Successful time for Pauline Curley

Pauline Curley was 2nd lady finisher in the 5th annual Donadea Forest 10k whick took place on Saturday last in Co Kildare. Pauline, who has won this popular race in 2008 and 2009, clocked 36.27 , finishing 15th overall. 1st lady was Barbara Sanchez (Raheny AC), another previous winner who crossed the line in 35.43 and 1st male was Gary O’Hanlon (Clonliffe Harriers) in 31.46.

Pauline Curley also retained her title when she was first lady across the line in the Galway Bay Half marathon , on Saturday, October 6.

Pauline put in a fine performance, in the field of over 1000 athletes, clocking 1hr 19.10, finishing three minutes ahead of Mary Scully (Mullingar). Ray Murray finished in 1hr 49.39

On the same day, prior to the half marathon, a 10k race was run
