Fashionable fillies for Kilbeggan races

BUILDING on the success of 2010, the Gigginstown Midlands National Day at Kilbeggan Races on Friday July 15 is set to be the biggest meeting at the racecourse to date. KHAN Boutique in Mullingar and Wineport Lodge in Glasson are sponsoring the ‘Best Dressed’ at the event and will present the winner with a prize worth in excess of €2,500.

KHAN Boutique in Mullingar and Wineport Lodge in Glasson are sponsoring the ‘Best Dressed’ at the event and will present the winner with a prize worth in excess of €2,500.

The winner of this year’s Best Dressed Lady Competition will win a prize worth €2,500 that includes a shopping spree at KHAN Mullingar, a Woman of Style Weekend at Wineport Lodge and hair makeover at Profile Hair in Mullingar. The Woman of Style Weekend will include a weekend stay in the Captain’s Suite with champagne dinner, lunch in the Taittinger Bar followed by a culinary class, powerboat trip to Athlone, Tasting Menu in the celebrated restaurant and top to toe spa treatments.

The Gigginstown Midlands National Day will kick off at 4pm with the first race at 5.45pm. Finalists for the Best Dressed will be selected through the event with finalists enjoying a champagne reception at the KHAN / Wineport Lodge marquee before the winner is announced and presented after the last race. The feature race is The Gigginstown House Midlands National with a prize of €50,000.

Ladies Day at Kilbeggan has become thesocial event of the year in the Midlands with a full evening of entertainment for all the family including live music, children’s entertainment as well as the glamour of the Best Dressed and of course the excitement of the racing.
