On Friday, March 7, Offaly Camogie in association with WOGO Sports are hosting a unique fundraiser that will provide great entertainment for young and old alike.

The county’s first ever Indoor Putting Classic will take place in The County Arms Hotel getting underway at 7.30pm.

The I Putt Pro is not your run of the mill indoor putting game where the aim is simply to get the ball in the hole. This game measures accuracy, pace and direction which will challenge the most experienced golfer while also providing great entertainment for the novice.

Each shot is taken from a different position on the mat with your score calculated on where it ends up on the target area.

The event is open to all ages with a team event open to pubs, schools, clubs or any group of four people who wish to take part. Entry is €40 per team with the winning side receiving the WOGO Cup. Entry for individuals is €10 per adult for two rounds and €5 for students and children who will also play two rounds.

The event is being run by local man KP Egan and is a fundraiser for Offaly Camogie. For the first time this year, Offaly will compete in U-16A, Minor A and Senior level. All support for what promises to be a very entertaining night will be greatly appreciated.
