Gardaí warning homeowners to secure outdoor sheds

Gardaí are warning homeowners to be vigilant following a number of recent burglaries on outdoor sheds.

Sheds, garages and outhouses are at risk of being targeted by thieves.

The Gardaí are advising people to put an alarm on sheds if feasible, be wary of maintenance of the sheds (i.e rot which may give raiders easy access) and make sure locks are secure.
