Birr man takes 'Polar Plunge'

Paul Hoare from Birr recently took the Special Olympics' Polar Plunge to raise money for the organisation.

The plunge was originally scheduled for before Christmas, but finally took place in Athlone on February 27th.

Paul would like to thank who donated to and sponsored him for taking the plunge.

Over €300 was raised locally for this great cause.
