Grace O'Dea reports

In terms of regional employment FRS Homecare aims to create between 10 and 30 jobs per county, depending on the requirement of services in the area. These jobs will include one nurse advisor for Offaly and an accompaniment of carers.

“Our focus is to deliver a quality caring homecare service with the same standards that we would expect for our own families,” commented Patricia Phelan FRS Homecare Manager.

All carers are Garda vetted and reference checked before being assessed to determine their suitability as an FRS carer.

FRS are now recruiting carers in Offaly and their services include alzheimer and dementia care,

physical disability care, respite care, family support and pre- and post natal care for mother and baby.
