Twelve nominees for Offaly Person of Year
THE OFFALY Association, Dublin has announced a high profile and diverse list of nominees for the Offaly Person of the Year 2011.
At total of 12 nominees have been short listed for the award, all of which were revealed this week. The winner of the prestigious award will receive their accolade at the annual Offaly Association dinner dance.
The nominees for the 2011 Offaly Person of the Year revealed this week were Michael Duignan, Jimmy & Johny Feery, Brian Gavin, Henry Healy, Johnny McEvoy, Fr Liam Lawton, Pat Smullen, Cleary Brothers, John Flanagan, Paddy Fenning, Andy Gallagher and Jim Bermingham.
Tickets are expected to go on sale shortly for the annual dinner dance, which will take place in the Red Cow Hotel on Saturday, March 24 next.
