Stunning production of Beauty & the Beast

Tullamore Musical Society’s 57th production is one of their most impressive efforts yet. Their decision to present Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (based on the 1991 animated film) turns out to have been an inspired choice as this production has everything - stunning sets, colourful costumes, enchanting songs and charming performances from all the main cast.
This is most definitely a family friendly production and the audience on the Opening Night last Monday was made up of numerous family groups including many little girls dressed up as the character Belle. In a break with tradition, but totally in keeping with the family theme, the cast met with members of the public after the performance while still in costume and in character and happily obliged by posing for photographs with their enthusiastic young fans.
