the brilliant combination of a very worthy cause and the attendance of a former Manchester Utd star paid off handsomely last Friday night in Fergie’s Bar in Market Square, Tullamore when considerable funds were raised for the Friends of Tullamore Hospital.

There was an excellent turn out on the night according to Fergie and all who attended were delighted to have the opportunity to chat with David May who was a member of Man Utd’s 1999 treble winning squad.

“David was a lovely guy. he chatted with everyone and stayed the whole evening,” said Fergie. There was also entertainment from local band Best Foot Forward.

“We owe a huge thank you to all our generous sponsors who helped make the night a great success. Because they were so kind we were able to raise the proceeds which will all go towards The Friends of Tullamore Hospital.”
