Kilcormac young scientist highly commended

KILCORMAC student Shane Harte from Coláiste Naomh Cormac took home a highly commended for his project at this years BT Young Scientist & Technology Exhibition.

His project aimed to create an e-learning environment.

Minister for Science, Technology, Innovation & Natural Resources with special responsibility for the Knowledge Society, Conor Lenihan and Chris Clark, CEO, BT Ireland, made the presentations at the awards ceremony held this evening at the RDS.

1,135 students competed this week with 509 projects from 32 counties across Ireland.
