BALLYCUMBER’S Paschal Guinan hit the jackpot in the Offaly GAA lotto draw recently as he matched all four numbers and netted €20,000 for him-self.

Paschal’s winning numbers were 3, 16, 20 and 25, and he was presented with his prize money by Offaly GAA Assistant Treasurer Andy Gallagher in the Club Faithful Supporters Zone at O’Connor Park on the day that Carroll’s Ham renewed their sponsorship of Offaly GAA for a record 23rd consecutive season.

Meanwhile, the numbers drawn in the Offaly GAA lotto on Tuesday, March 26th last were 17, 22, 24 and 32.

There were no jackpot or match three winners, so four Lucky Dip winners who receive €50 each were drawn and they were - Sean & Kay Flynn, Ferbane; Joe Kinsella, Birr; Damian White, Blue Ball and Mary Murphy, Rhode.

The jackpot stood at €5,200 for the latest draw which took place at the monthly County Board meeting on Tuesday, April 2nd in O’Connor Park.

Offaly GAA Chairperson Padraig Boland urged people to play the county lotto. “We hope that everybody associated with and interested in the development of Offaly GAA Teams will help us to promote this important fundraising initiative by contacting Offaly people from all over the world, asking them to visit the Offaly GAA website and to offer their support by entering our Lotto Draw online.”

Mr Boland concluded, “Offaly County Board wish to thank all Lotto players for their support of Offaly GAA teams and well done to Paschal on his win.”
