THE Daingean Homecoming Festival is one of the most anticipated annual events in the midlands. It boasts an impressive list of activities - one of the most popular being the Bumper Canal Day.
There are also many other events which include the parade, traditional threshing, karaoke competition and the Field Day. During the Daingean Homecoming Festival a Festival Queen is selected by a panel of judges. The Festival Queen selection is made in a similar style to the Rose of Tralee.
