DIRECTOR Ann Corcoran is busy at work rehearsing with the cast of ‘Once Upon A Time’ ahead of its opening night in Daingean Town Hall this Friday, January 20.
The cast of ‘Once Upon A Time’ (by Paul Barron & Sarah Dyson) have been working hard for the last four months with the script, dances and music.
Evil is about to be banished from Pantoland, thanks to the wedding of Cinderella’s daughter (played by Catherine Sheeran) and Snow White’s son (Carol Betson).
The wicked queen, Evelyn (Sarah Corcoran), sets out to stop the wedding by transporting Princess Lottie (Denise Bracken) and her two assistants, Nick (Shauna McGarrigle) and Nack (Jack Fox), to the far reaches of Pantoland.
Prince Marvellous (Mary Colgan), his friend Jack (Paul Keating) and the cook, Gertie (Pat McEvoy), set off to save her.
Along the way, they both meet various characters from different stories as they try to find each other and finally go through with their wedding.
The production will run from Friday to Sunday, January 20 to 22, and the show begins at 8pm each evening with a matinee at 4pm on Sunday only. Tickets are available from any cast members or at the door, prices - €8 for an adult / €5 for children under 12.
