Eight patients on trolleys at Tullamore Hospital

ACCORDING to figures released today (Tuesday, November 12) by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, eight patients were waiting on trolleys at the Midlands Regional Hospital in Tullamore.

ACCORDING to figures released today (Tuesday, November 12) by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, eight patients were waiting on trolleys at the Midlands Regional Hospital in Tullamore.

The figures show that no patients were waiting on trolleys in the Midlands Regional Hospital in Portlaoise while the Midlands Regional Hospital in Mullingar had 14 patients waiting on trolleys.

Nationally the figures show 305 patients were waiting with the biggest backlog (30) being at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.

The figures show that 25 patients were waiting in both the Mater Hospital and St Vincent’s Hospital in Dublin.
