A Tullamore man has been given 150 hours community service in lieu of three months in prison for threatening others while he was drunk.

A Tullamore man has been given 150 hours community service in lieu of three months in prison for threatening others while he was drunk.

Anthony Colsh (25) of 268 Arden View was involved in an altercation on Patrick Street, Tullamore at 2.05am on June 4, when he was so drunk he was a danger to himself and others.

Not working, the father of three is not used to drinking and his solicitor Donal Farrelly said this led to him perhaps getting “over-excited.”
