ACCORDING to figures released on Tuesday, October 30 by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, seven patients were waiting on trolleys at the Midlands Regional Hospital in Tullamore.

ACCORDING to figures released on Tuesday, October 30 by the Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation, seven patients were waiting on trolleys at the Midlands Regional Hospital in Tullamore.

The figures show that two patients were waiting on trolleys in the Midlands Regional Hospital in Portlaoise while the Midlands Regional Hospital in Mullingar had no patients waiting on trolleys.

Nationally the figures show 165 patients were waiting with the biggest backlog (19) being at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda.
