GARDAI in Tullamore discovered a skimming device at a Tullamore supermarket this week. The device was discovered at the Ulster Bank at Tesco in Cloncollig. This is the second time in recent months that a device was discovered at the same location.
Meanwhile Gardai this week also discovered cigarettes to the value of €8,000 in Clara. A file is being prepared for the DPP on the matter.
A woman receieved 30 stitches to her face following an altercation involving a glass at a Tullamore pub over the weekend.
Gardai in Tullamore arrested a juvenile from Dublin for spraying ‘wanted for treason’ on election posters around the town.
Elsewhere around the town it was a busy weekend for Gardai with eight arrests for public order, two for criminal damage, two for shoplifting and two for drink driving.
