The town of Clara has become Mo’Town for Movember 2012. The local Hairyhoors Movember team have been mo’bilised and are again growing moustaches of all shapes, sizes and colour to raise awareness of Prostate Cancer and funds for Action Prostate Cancer and the Irish Cancer Society.

This year 88 lads have joined up and are seeking sponsorship, nearly twice as many as last year. Organisers Andrew Dignam and Aaron Baggot are hopeful for another successful fundraising campaign despite tougher times, and are keen to thank those that have already committed donations so far.

Another fabulous Barbershop Party night in Baggots Back Door Lounge Clara is planned for the finale of the campaign on Friday November 30th when all the Hairyhoors and their supporters will gather to celebrate their exploits.

On the night HairyHoors will have the opportunity to get their baby-faces restored as they are shaved by local Mo’barber Adrian Seymour and local hairdressers who graciously helped out last year also.

You can support team Hairyhoors by visiting ie.movember.com/team/438181where you can donate to the team or any of its members. Alternatively, you can give your donations to any of the Hairyhoors who are prowling the locality with their sponsor cards.
