NEW schedules announced by Iarnród Éireann this week include an extra early morning service for Tullamore commuters. Iarnród Éireann has announced that, following a new customer feedback process which allowed customers to view draft schedules and propose changes, new schedules for all Heuston and some regional routes will take affect from Sunday May 8.

As part of the changes, the weekday 06:35 Galway – Heuston service will now call at Tullamore at 07:52 providing greater options. Iarnród Éireann advises all Offaly customers to view the new schedules, as many services will see departure time changes, or changes to stopping patterns of individual changes which may affect their journeys.

A spokesperson for Iarnród Éireann said “we are delighted with the response from Offaly customers to this new feedback process for timetable changes. While obviously resources don’t allow for all suggestions to be adopted, we have been able to deliver real improvements as a direct result of the feedback, and will use this model for all future schedule reviews.”
