THE weather kept up it's side of the bargain last Sunday as hundreds of runners and walkers took to Tullamore's streets in aid of Dochas.
Almost four hundred participants paraded behind the St Colmcille Pipe Band up to the starting line at the traffic lights at the railway station and they completed the four mile course in aid of the local charity.
This is the ninth year of the annual event, which is AAI approved and it caters for the serious runner and fun runners/walkers.
The 378 runners and walkers of all ages took part to raise funds for Dochas, which provides holistic support to cancer patients and their families. This complements primary medical treatments with education and psychological care.
