Offaly to face Westmeath at home in Leinster SFC on second weekend in June

Offaly face Westmeath at home on June 10/11

The Offaly Senior Footballers will face Westmeath in O'Connor Park in the Leinster Senior Football Championship quarter-final on the weekend of June 10/11.

The sides met in Mullingar in the 2016 Championship with Westmeath winning by a single point. If Offaly come through that game, their Leinster semi-final will take place on June 25.

The Offaly hurlers will be away to whichever team they face after the Round Robin phase although if they face Kerry, the game will be in a Leinster venue. That game, which will be the first championship game for newly appointed manager Kevin Ryan, is fixed for the weekend of May 27/28.

If Offaly win that game, their quarter-final against the winners of Dublin and Galway will be played on the weekend of June 17/18.

There are also a couple of big games pencilled in for O'Connor Park. Dublin and Galway will again meet in Tullamore in the Leinster SHC quarter-final while the Leinster SFC quarter-final between Kildare and the winners of Laois and Longford is also fixed for the venue.

Meanwhile Dublin will once again be moved out of Croke Park for their opening game in the Leinster SFC against the winners of Wexford and Carlow. If Wexford win, the game will be played in Wexford Park while if Carlow win, the game will be played in O'Moore Park, Portlaoise.
