Late Dooley goal snatches draw for Offaly against Limerick

A goal from Shane Dooley from a penalty three minutes into injury-time snatched a draw for Offaly after a thrilling showdown with Limerick in the Gaelic Grounds on Saturday evening.

Offaly made a strong start and opened and early lead at 1-3 to 0-3 thanks to Dooley's first goal but by half-time Offaly found themselves 2-6 to 1-7 behind.

Limerick had a chance to put the game away with a penalty but the shot was saved.

Offaly looked on course for a second defeat entering the closing stages but goals from Conor Mahon, Ger Healion and Dooley's last gasp strike snatched a draw for Offaly.
