The Offaly team to face Kildare this Sunday in Tullamore in the O’Byrne Cup semi-final has been named.

Manager Emmett McDonnell has kept faith with the majority of the team that has seen Offaly win three games in a row in the group stages of the competition.

Division 1 side Kildare however will pose a much sterner test. The sides met twice last year (once in the O’Byrne Cup and again in the championship) and on both occasions Kildare easily accounted for their neighbours. They will meet again in the first round of the championship in the summer.

Kildare defeated Carlow IT, Dublin IT and Wexford en route to the semi-finals.
