The Offaly U-14 team travelled to Clare on the May Bank Holiday Monday to take part in the Munster and Clare U-14 blitz.

The talented Offaly team were among the real stars on the day as they won all their games on their way to claiming the B Cup.

They started their day with a 1-4 to 0-1 win over Cork and they followed that up with 3-0 to 1-0 win over Galway. Their third game ended in a 2-1 to 0-1 victory over fellow Leinster side Kilkenny while they rounded off the group stage with a comprehensive 4-5 to 0-0 win over Tipperary.

Those results earned them a place in the B Final against Waterford and they came through that game with a 1-3 to 1-0 win over Waterford.

Offaly captain Aoibhe Whelehan picked up the shield at the end of the game as the Faithful County made their mark in Munster.
