Louth 0-10

Offaly 0-8 This was a game Offaly could easily have won but a total of 12 wides and at least another six missed chances over the hour were their undoing on the night in Navan.

Trailing by 0-9 to 0-1 after 35 minutes, Offaly, lead by the very impressive minor star Peter Cunningham who came on as a sub, rattled off the next seven points to get the gap down to one with seven minutes to go.

They had chances to level the scores but thy just never managed to get back on terms and with the last kick of the game Louth ended a 25 minute scoring drought to round off the win.
