OFFALY Hurler Shane Dooley has launched his ‘Shane Dooley Sharpshooters Summer Camp’ that is set to take place in O’Brien Park in Tullamore from Tuesday 16th to Friday 19th of July between 10am and 2pm each day.

Following on from the hugely successful maiden camp in 2012, Dooley has once again organised the camp that will incorporate a range of fun and games including the main focus of Gaelic Football and Hurling.

The camp is for boys and girls aged between six and 14 inclusive and while Gaelic Football and Hurling will be the main activities, kids will also have other fun games during the four days.

For those who cannot make the four days, there is also a provision to pay by the day in a bid to accommodate as many as possible.15 euro per day is the charge per child while those wishing to participate for the full four days can do so for 55 euro while discounts will apply for more than one member of a family.

The coaching will be carried out by Inter County coaches with some guest appearances also expected similar to the visit of Brendan Maher (Tipperary hurler) and Tommy Walsh (Kilkenny hurler) last year when they visited to the camp and took time out to talk to the kids, sign autographs and pose for pictures.

With a raffle for great sporting prizes on the last day, the whole experience promises to be a super event. For more details and to book places, Shane Dooley can be contacted on 0860535038.With the popularity of last year’s camp, kids are urged to book their place as soon as possible.
