ON Saturday last, Pat Cleary, the newly appointed Hurling Co-ordinator for Offaly Coaching & Games Development Committee in conjunction with John Leahy Coaching & Games Promotion Officer organised a hurling workshop for former Inter County Players.

The purpose of the workshop was to brief the former inter county players on a specific hurling programme which will be rolled out to clubs in the coming weeks.

Pat Cleary furnished all present with a comprehensive booklet that will aid the coaches to execute the programme.

In conclusion, Pat acknowledged the commitment of the former inter county players for coming on board and pledged on behalf of John Leahy and himself that every effort will be made in the coming year to assist under age Hurling Coaches in Offaly.
