Four hurling legends have been confirmed to take part in a questions and answers style debate ahead of the Leinster Senior Hurling Championship clash between Offaly and Kilkenny on June 9th in O’Connor Park, Tullamore.

Carroll’s Ham, Club Faithful, Offaly GAA and Irish Autism Action are all coming together to put on a pre game event in the Tullamore GAA Centre.

Offaly legends Joe Dooley and Brian Whelehan will be joined by Kilkenny duo Eddie Brennan and DJ Carey where they will be put through the ringer by MC and Club Faithful committee member Michael Duignan.

Carroll’s Ham will have a world record attempt on the day as they bid to make as many ham sandwiches as possible in one hour. They will enlist the help of the hurling legends as well as anyone else willing to lend a hand on the day.

The event is free and will also cater for kids with a host of outdoor activities aimed at kids planned.

Throw in for the big game is at 2pm and the pre game event will kick off in the Tullamore GAA centre at 12 noon and promises to be a super day out for all the family and a good atmosphere builder for the big game.

All sandwiches made will then be sold off with all proceeds going to Irish Autism Action. For more information on the event check out Carroll’s facebook and twitter pages as well as the Club Faithful and Offaly GAA social media outlets.
